EXCLUSION

As a response to the exclusion citizens, particularly African Americans, feel from their democratic system, they have been rising up and forcing there voice to be heard. This anger was sparked by the recent deaths of black children by police officers.

This directly relates to how America's moral realm is controlled by government allowance. It is said that the government is not responsible for the morality of its people. But what morality would be carried for minorities if they are being erased by law? Since the majority only have their desires automatically accepted, media will cater to them, law will cater to them, opportunities will be made for them.

"Although there are a growing number of people waking up the reality of our growing transparent soft cage, there seems to be just enough citizens who are choosing to remain asleep. Worse yet, there are even those who were at least partially awake at one time but found it necessary to return to the slumber of dreamland."

How can what is morally right for minorities even be thought of? With our system of democracy, they are forced to take a side on who deserves moral treatment. Therefore, the government is always responsible for the morality of its citizens. This truth is neither self evident nor advertised, and thus, by default people believe that all citizens are considered by the government.
